Builds the parts of Agrivia that must never be wrong. The fee engine, the escrow ledger, and the commission math that decides what reaches the farm gate all pass through his hands before they reach a farmer's bank account.

Twelve years across fintech and platform engineering, the last four of them applied to machine learning in production rather than in notebooks. He is the reason every peso on this platform is counted in integer centavos: a rounding error on a commission is not a cosmetic bug when the money belongs to a smallholder. His work on Agrivia spans the marketplace front end, the pricing ladder that lets one catalog serve both households and processors, and the demand forecasting that tells a farm what to plant.

Designed computeOrderTotals() as the single source of truth for money. Commission is charged per seller at that seller's own rate, blended only for display, and never on a failed transaction.

Turns the reality of Philippine agriculture into requirements an engineer can build against. He has sat in enough cooperative meetings in Benguet to know why a listing needs a harvest window, and why a payout that lands on Friday is worth more than one that lands on Monday.

A decade spanning agri-cooperative operations and enterprise business analysis. He ran the field research that produced the four subscription tiers, discovering the break-even points where a smallholder is genuinely better off staying on the free plan โ€” and then insisted the product say so out loud rather than upsell. He owns the roadmap, the verification workflow, and the relationships with the farms and logistics partners the platform depends on.

Interviewed 60+ farmers, consolidators, and institutional buyers across seven provinces. The finding that a farmer sells at a roadside price set by whoever arrives first is what the entire platform is built to fix.
